NewDay USA's CEO Rob Posner and his wife Zina Posner (formerly Zina Roberts) Award Scholarships to Children of Veterans attending Georgia Military College Prep School.
Our veterans often go unrecognized, even though they have sacrificed for our freedom. There is no repayment for their service. However, we believe that everyone can play a role in showing them our gratitude. This includes us, too.
NewDay USA is committed to serving vets. They have helped veterans from all over America get VA loans, which gives the NewDay USA Foundation a special obligation to help the veteran community. That includes military children! One way they do this is by providing over 70 scholarships to help give these kids a brighter future.
CEO Rob Posner and his wife Zina Posner (formerly Zina Roberts) recently visited Georgia Military College Prep School, and awarded scholarships to two incoming students.
Twenty years ago, Rob founded NewDay USA because he saw a need for veterans that no one else was fulfilling. NewDay USA has grown into a company that helps thousands of veteran families attain and maintain the American dream of homeownership. In 2017, we helped 24,000 veterans. Rob and Zina are invested in their company's success, and they also care deeply about veterans. They've ensured that the company's success is also shared with the veteran community.
The Alan B. Posner scholarship is awarded to children of Gold Star families, veterans who are 100 percent service-related disabled, and those that have served and been impacted by the Global War on Terror. The scholarship covers tuition and fees and follows the students through their time at GMC Prep.
Kaitlyn and Buck are the latest recipients of the multi-year scholarship joining other 20 students currently at GMC benefiting from the award. The NewDay USA Foundation has committed over $6 million since 2013 by awarding multi-year scholarships to the children of fallen and disabled veterans.
Congratulations to all of the Alan B. Posner scholarship recipients. We wish them the best luck in their future academic endeavors.
